The Problem
In typical Managed Access Systems, signal sources are typically the most expensive part of the system, and many facilities are multi-building so adding signal sources to each building/area can quickly inflate a budget. This reality requires a fiber remote system capable of distributing RF signals from a centralized location to each building/area and amplifying them to provide sufficient coverage where needed, along with careful RF DAS design to ensure the service denial does not bleed to the surrounding civilians. RF jamming alone will not provide Whitelist/Blacklist capabilities or 911 calls. A more sophisticated, yet cost effective system is required to provide similar effectiveness as Managed Access with intelligent cost-conscious design.
The Solution
STEALTH RF’s Supervised Access System (SAS) provides the ability to manage a facility’s indoor and outdoor cellular phone environment by blocking all unauthorized calls, text, and data within the physical perimeter while allowing emergency calls to a designated phone number. Our system also provides identification on detected cellular phones. Target use cases are the protection of embassies, military bases, prisons, and other static facilities where active control of the cellular environment is required. As a manufacturer and system integrator, STEALTH RF will design, build, install, and test the SAS capability. Our team has demonstrated expertise and experience in custom cellular solutions spanning network architecture, antenna installation, custom cellular solutions, and tamper proof installations. Tailored MAS
SAS is STEALTH RF's tailored and improved MAS that lowers cost by providing a right-sized set of hardware and software. The provided signaling to the target cell phone is sufficient to provide the features required to control phones without the excess capability required to operate a fully featured mobile network resulting in a lower cost without sacrificing MAS functionality.
Perimeter Control
All SAS deployed by STEALTH RF provides the ability to control the use of cell phones within a defined perimeter without impacting phones outside of the perimeter and the ability to connect emergency calls.
Tamper Resistant
Our SAS can be installed either covertly or overtly and is designed to operate in hostile environments where physical tampering is a threat.
Serviceable
SAS is designed and built with commercially available hardware, which simplifies replacement, servicing, and upgrading.
Safety
Emergency 911 calls are routed to the appropriate emergency response center.
